Hi Friend, Last week, my mom had back surgery. She came home with some strict orders, including no twisting or bending. That has made even simple daily tasks, like using the bathroom, much more challenging. We set her up with the usual post-surgery accommodations, including a walker and a cane, but one new piece of equipment turned out to be an unexpected lifesaver. A bidet seat attachment. These affordable, easy-to-install attachments connect directly to a regular toilet. No plumbing or remodeling needed. Unlike freestanding bidets, bidet attachments are much less expensive and can be installed in minutes. For my mom, it has meant she can be independent with her hygiene and avoid painful movements during her recovery. Bidet attachments are not only more hygienic than toilet paper, but they also reduce the risk of falls and injury by eliminating the need to twist or reach awkwardly. My favorite feature of her bidet attachment is the heated seat. I became quite fond of it while I was staying with her. :) My Mom bought hers at Costco, there is also a wide selection on Amazon. We’ve rounded up top-rated bidet attachments and shared how they can make bathroom routines safer and easier for seniors and caregivers alike. 👉 See the full roundup on DailyCaring.com Oh, and Mom is doing great and well on her way to a full recovery. Until next week, Amie
